Mechanical Keyboard Switches

Shop mechanical keyboard switches in India for your first custom build or an upgrade to a stock board. Choose linear switches for a smooth press, tactile switches for a noticeable bump, clicky switches for an audible click and tactile feedback, or silent switches to reduce keypress noise. Check each product's force, travel, pin count and pack size before ordering. KEYORA ships from Ahmedabad across India.

Browse Linear Mechanical Switches, Tactile Mechanical Switches, Clicky Mechanical Switches and Silent Mechanical Switches. For magnetic keyboards, browse our separate Hall Effect Keyboard Switches collection. Compare switch types in the Mechanical Switch Guide.

How to choose mechanical keyboard switches

  • Linear for a smooth keypress without a tactile bump.
  • Tactile for a bump you can feel during the press.
  • Clicky for an audible click and tactile feedback; consider the noise if you share a room.
  • Silent switches use dampening to reduce keypress noise.
  • Choose Hall Effect switches only for a compatible magnetic keyboard, not a standard mechanical hot-swap board.
  • Check your PCB supports the switch's 3-pin or 5-pin mounting and your keyboard's switch type before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

How many switches do I need for my keyboard?

A 60% or 65% board typically needs about 61 to 68 switches, a TKL around 87, and a full-size board 104 or more. Check your exact layout and the pack size on the product page, and consider a few matching spares.

What is the difference between linear, tactile, clicky and silent switches?

Linear switches have a smooth press without a tactile bump. Tactile switches add a bump you can feel. Clicky switches add an audible click as well as tactile feedback. Silent switches use dampening to reduce keypress noise; linear does not automatically mean silent.

Will these switches work with my hot-swap keyboard?

Check that your keyboard accepts the switch type listed on the product page and that its PCB supports 3-pin or 5-pin mounting. Five-pin switches have two extra plastic locating legs. Standard mechanical switches are not a substitute for Hall Effect switches on a magnetic keyboard.

Do you stock clicky mechanical switches?

Yes. Our Clicky Switches collection includes Kailh Box White V2 Clicky Keyboard Switches, sold in packs of 10. Choose clicky if you want audible feedback; consider silent switches if you need less noise in a shared space.
