Kailh Choc V2 Low-Profile 1353 Switches

Choose the key feel for your compatible low-profile build: a linear press, a tactile bump, or a damped silent version. These Kailh 1353-series mechanical switches come in four options with different forces and travel distances.

  • White Rain: A linear press without a tactile bump. Its housing and stem use POM, with a nominal 50 gf operating force and 2.8 mm total travel.
  • Purple Iris: A light silent linear with a nominal 30 gf operating force, 0.8 mm pre-travel and 1.8 mm total travel. Choose it if you prefer a short, light keypress.
  • Deep Sea Silent Mini Whale (Brown): A silent tactile option with a tactile bump and damped keystrokes. Nominal operating force is 45 gf, with a 55 gf tactile force.
  • Black Cloud: A tactile option with a POM housing and stem, a nominal 45 gf operating force and 55 gf tactile force. Choose it for tactile feedback without the silent design.
Switch Type Operating Force Tactile Force Pre-travel Total Travel
White Rain Linear 50 ± 10 gf Not applicable 1.2 ± 0.3 mm 2.8 ± 0.25 mm
Purple Iris Silent linear 30 ± 10 gf Not applicable 0.8 ± 0.3 mm 1.8 mm (+0.4 / −0 mm)
Deep Sea Silent Mini Whale (Brown) Silent tactile 45 ± 10 gf 55 ± 10 gf 1.3 ± 0.3 mm 2.8 ± 0.25 mm
Black Cloud Tactile 45 ± 10 gf 55 ± 10 gf 1.6 ± 0.3 mm 2.8 ± 0.25 mm

Operating force is the force at electrical actuation. Tactile force is the peak force at the tactile bump. Pre-travel is the distance to actuation; total travel is the full keypress distance. Actual sound depends on your keyboard, keycaps and typing.

Check compatibility before ordering

Use only with a PCB, socket and plate that explicitly support the selected Kailh Choc V2 / 1353 variant. These are not drop-in replacements for standard Cherry MX or Gateron low-profile switches. Check your board’s exact model and revision before buying.

The MX-style cross stem is a keycap interface, not a guarantee of PCB or socket compatibility. Choc V1 keycaps do not fit this stem. Check keycap spacing, skirt clearance and plate fit independently.

Package contents: 10 switches of the selected variant. Quantity 1 adds one pack of 10 switches to your order.

Switches only. Keyboard and keycaps are not included.
